I facilitate the green building program for the City of Santa Monica's Office of Sustainability and the Environment to help achieve the goals in the Sustainable City Plan. The City is recognized as a global leader in sustainability and meets aggressive environmental performance goals through measurable public and private actions. I ensure the Santa Monica built environment continues demonstrating international leadership in sustainable achievement. I design and implement programs to promote, educate, and market the benefits of green construction. I provide technical assistance to other City departments, private developers, building owners, builders and consultants to integrate cost-effective sustainable building practices into all City projects.
